




Bridget Whitman spent much of 2014 competing on the hit TV Show, So You Think You Can Dance where she earned a Top 10 spot for the popular "Season 11." Throughout the competition she worked with outstanding choreographers such as: Sonya Tayeh, Travis Wall, Pasha Kovalev, and Warren Carlyle. Honoring her Top 10 finish on SYTYCD, Bridget joined the annual tour that historically follows performing in 73 different cities across North America. Upon finishing, Bridget joined another tour in the Spring of 2015 with Rasta Thomas’s Bad Boy’s of Dance. She spent 2.5 months performing in China as lead female of the hit show, Best of Rock The Ballet. Recently Bridget worked an industrial for Gap corporation as a ballet dancer in Manhattan under direction of commercial success, Sky Hoffman.
Bridget was awarded the Director’s Scholarship to the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA. She accepted and joined their dance program (2012-2016). Notable dancers/choreographers Bridget has studied under while attending UArts are: Scott Jovovich (Joffery Ballet and Fosse Dancer) Michael Sheridan and Anne White (Pennsylvania Ballet Alumni), Tommy Waheed (Philadelphia Dance Company Choreographer/Dancer), Jennifer Johnson (Martha Graham Dance Company), and Sara Proccopio (Shen Wei Dance Arts.)
In Fall 2015, Bridget was one of few selected to perform repertoire of New York based company, Gallim Dance. The process involved working with current company members and learning choreography by the founder herself, Andrea Miller. She graduated with her BFA in Dance May 2016. She trained at Tempe Dance Academy under Wanda Manville, Holly Manville, former Rockette Tammy Booth, and principal dancers of Suzanne Farrell Ballet Michael Cook and Natalia Magniciabelli. There she was disciplined in ballet, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, acrobatics, tap, hip hop, and Latin/Standard Ballroom.
